Set Your Organization's Languages
Last updated: September 30, 2026
What this does
The Language card on your Settings page lets you set your organization's default interface language and the language Call-E uses for new AI-generated content.
Before you start
You need to be an Owner or Admin in your Call-E organization.
Steps
- Open Settings, then Language & region.
- Find the Language card and click Edit.
- Choose English or Español for Default language if your organization has Spanish enabled. This is the default for members who have not chosen a language for themselves.
- Choose the Content language Call-E should use for new call transcripts, Call Notes, Call Guidance, and Call Scorecards.
- Click Save. Call-E saves both settings together.
The explanation in the Language card stays the same while you edit. Only the language values change into menus, so you can review what each setting does before you save.
After it's done
Members who haven't set their own language on their Preferences page see Call-E in the new default the next time they load a page. Members who already chose a language for themselves keep that choice — the organization default doesn't override it.
Changing the organization default doesn't change your own language. If you've set a personal language on your Preferences page, you keep seeing Call-E in that language.
Content language affects new results only; existing transcripts and AI-generated content do not change.
Until Spanish AI content is enabled for your organization, Call-E saves your selection but continues generating transcripts and AI outputs in English.
If something goes wrong
- You don't see the Language card. Your role does not allow editing organization settings. Ask an Owner to check your role.
- You don't see Default language. Your organization does not have Spanish enabled yet.
- You see "Couldn't update language settings. Please try again." Your choices stay on screen. Try Save again. If it still doesn't work, contact support.
