What this does
Copies a curated Library Call Type into your Organization so you can customize it instead of starting blank.
Before you start
If you do not see New Call Type, contact your administrator.
Steps
- Open Call Types, then click New Call Type.
- Choose Copy from the Call Type Library, then click Open Call Type Library.
- Use Show call types for… to temporarily narrow the list, if needed. Library Call Types are grouped by conversation purpose.
- Select a Library Call Type. Review its Background, Call Guidance, Call Notes, and optional Call Scorecard.
- Click Customize this Call Type. Call-E prefills the editor in your Organization's content language, including the Library entry's icon and color. If you already chose that color for another Call Type, the copy starts on a color you haven't chosen for any other Call Type.
- Edit anything you want — including the icon and color, via the round icon button in front of Name — then click Create Call Type.
After it's done
Your new Call Type is your Organization's own copy. You can edit it independently, and later Library changes do not update it.
The Library does not provide Real-time Insights settings.
If something goes wrong
- You see No Library Call Types. There are no Library Call Types available to copy yet.
- You see Library Call Type unavailable. The selection may have been removed. Click Back to Call Type Library and choose another one.
- The Call Type is created but does not open automatically. Click Open created Call Type; do not create it again.
